My problem is that this unit is free and clear and these units are typically only sold for CASH- (I am willing to do a trade or some other arrangement acceptable to me) and the rules of the community prohibit their being rented. I have a home nearby and am only using this unit currently to store some furniture and business materials.
Since this market is slow and property is difficult to sell I am hoping to trade or make some arrangement for the transfer of this unit to someone, or a couple, who may have a house or condo to sell in MI, but want to spend winters in a warmer climate and have a place they won't have to worry about while they're gone. It may also may be you just have a home to sell and want to remain local with less responsibility & cost.
In this community a reasonable maintenance fee of less than $500/mo includes gas (for heat & cooking), water/sewer, and taxes. In addition the community maintenance plows the roads and parking areas (you are only responsible from the front door to the walk-appx 10')and the grounds are also maintained in the summer.
The community is also responsible for repair or replacement of appliances such as the stove and refrigerator, as well as the water heater and furnace.
